The execution of this plan is based on the availability of funding. Hence it is a projection of the short term goals of LINK-UP.
1) To Scale up assistance, protect and educate war orphans and vulnerable Internally Displaced Children within the context of the ongoing conflict of the English speaking Regions of Cameroon
2) To Construct a LINK-UP Centre for Vulnerable Children and Rehabilitation (Hope Centre)
3) To enhance Economic Empowerment and Access to Financial services, to struggling Small Businesses, IDP and their host communities through Self Help Support Groups.(SHSGs) as follows;
a) To carry out Social Mobilization of Grassroots Communities into Self Help Support Groups.
b) To promote organizational structuring and strengthening, for better Grassroots Groups Management.
c) To provide capacity building to group members in enhancing economic empowerment activities.
d) To establish a “Grassroots Self Help Economic Empowerment Fund” to ease access to financing of struggling small businesses, thereby assisting affected families in building resilience and livelihood
4) To assist affected communities in the reconstruction process in the domain of education, health and housing.
We will continue to build on what we have established so far, while exploring new horizons as the need arises and resources available.
